The brand-new Ohio Renal Care Group at Farnsworth kidney dialysis center opened its doors and welcomed its first patients this week.
The facility — a partnership involving MetroHealth, Cleveland Clinic and Fresenius Kidney Care — is located at 3280 West 25th Street, just across the street from the MetroHealth main campus and hospital.
The 9,800-square-foot center will be able to treat up to 200 kidney patients a week. It offers state-of-the-art equipment, an open and modern feel and treatment areas with free Wi-Fi and heated massage chairs. The staff will help empower patients to live the healthiest, fullest life possible by accommodating their emotional needs as well as their physical requirements. Treatments will be convenient and personalized.
MetroHealth’s Dr. Marcia Silver will serve as medical director of the facility.
